What type of chocolate does the fountain take?

Couverture chocolate is recommended, but it runs well with Ghirardelli or Nestle baking chips. Oil is added to make it flow better and the amount changes with the type of chocolate. We provide the oil. There are certain types of chocolate that will not flow well, so please check with me if you are providing something different than the above mentioned types. You can have dark, milk, or white chocolate.

What do you recommend to dip?

Anything that will not crumble into the chocolate. Favorites are marshmallows, pretzels, hard cookies, strawberries, pineapple, dried fruit, and caramels.

How far will you travel?

We are willing to travel within a 100 mile radius of our locations (Columbus, OH and Schaumburg, IL). We will negotiate after that. We would like to work something out with anyone who is seeking a fountain at their event. Some options are to add $100 to price to cover hotel and extra time. Or we can deliver it and get it set up and running and then leave. You can make sure it gets returned to us the next day. We are willing to listen to any suggestions.

How far in advance do you have to book?

It all depends on how quickly our dates fill up. You can call at anytime to request a date. Our policy is to tentatively hold a date for 5 days and then we need to receive a $200 deposit. If someone else requests your date before you have sent a deposit, we will call you and make sure you have first refusal before we give it to anyone else. We expect the remainder of the payment 2 weeks prios to the event.
